In Seatlle WERES THE Hostels?

The question is about HOSTEL, with an S. That's a place with inexpensive, often shared rooms. The word is often used along with "youth" as in Youth Hostel. They are very common in Europe, less so here in the US.

About Seattle - the green tortoise is still around. But the American Youth Hostel that used to be at 84 Union has closed - they lost their lease. Last I heard they were still looking for another location to re-open.
